Mission
The Miss American Teen Creed
"The Miss American Teen pageant was founded for the modern American teenager on her way to success. As a role model to her generation, millions of young women and girls across the country will learn from her example and make positive changes in their lives. We believe that lifelong learning, giving back to others, and introspective self-improvement are keys to a healthy and empowered life. As such, we strive to be our best authentic selves everyday and to allow our inner beauty to reign."
We Are Empowered Women
We are an organization of girls and young women, ages 13 to 22, who serve our communities and strive for a healthy, empowered lifestyle.
We Are Confident Women
Miss American Teen encourages advanced and independent study as a catalyst for positive change and upward mobility. We help build confidence, self-esteem, important life skills and create personal growth opportunities.
We Are Changing The World
We value life-long learning and strive for continuous improvement. We challenge ourselves to be the best version of ourselves we can be. Through service to others and sharing of our talents and strengths, we will leave an imprint on the world for many generations to come.
